Visit Technology Group announces Joakim Stjernström to join company as Director of Sales and Marketing

Visit Technology Group, a leading provider of internet based travel technology solutions for the tourism industry announced today the appointment of Joakim Stjernstrom as the new Sales and Marketing Director.

Joakim will be responsible for international sales and marketing issues within the Visit Technology Group. Within this role, he will be instrumental in determining future marketing strategy, press and public relations and exhibition presence. In addition, he will head up the sales team and manage their activities. Joakim has joined Visit after six years working in professional sales, marketing and business development at Hoist Hospitality Group. He was latterly responsible for the business development and sales support of hotel technology software products. Prior to his time at Hoist, Joakim founded HotSoft International, one of the leading European Hotel Management System suppliers.

Working with the Visit sales and marketing team, his key aim will be to raise the profile of Citybreak™ as a leading Internet based reservation, packaging and distribution tool. Joakim will be based at the company's base in Gothenburg, but expects to spend a high percentage of time with customers and partners. He added "I am a strong believer in maintaining close contacts with both the market and the partners in order to maximise opportunities for Visit".
